Squeeze Rock Blog

TGIF Squeeze Rock party at Raven’s Head tonight starting at 10pm!

A song about my feelings during and after Sandy. It starts as a break up song, and ends with a lament on all we’ve lost in the storm. A rather heavy mood I’ve been in that needed to get out. I hope it brings peace of mind to some degree in these uncertain times.

Spike The Squeeze Rock Punch

Squeeze Rock, the new all borough band from New York, is Hungry!  Hungry for some food; Hungry for a mood change…

Are you hungry too?  We want to share our hunger with you.  Squeeze Rock is performing this Monday, October 8th at Spike Hill in Brooklyn.  The Squeeze Rock set is at 11pm, but we’ll be there starting at 8pm with a hunger for drinks.  A special Squeeze Rock punch has been decided as the drink of the month:  Tequila Sunrise!

Be careful how you manage your hunger, lest it becomes a blunder, because too much orange can only lead to one thing!

#squeezerock is ready to rock @spikehill on Monday! 11pm set, we’ll b drinking #squeezerock punch starting at 8pm

The Queens Band Plays

For the first time this Fall, Squeeze Rock will be performing with the Queens band line-up.  While Arei recently moved to Brooklyn, we’re still rehearsing in his studio in Astoria; and 2 out of 3 of us still lives in the borough of Queens.  We’ll still be playing the new tunes and rockin’ the house the way we always do.

Since moving to Queens 3 years ago, Julz-A has become increasingly fond of the borough.  Matt Snow is a native of Jamaica, Queens and shares this affinity with the borough.  At rehearsal recently the two talked of how Astoria is such a good spot for all the important things in our lives: proximity to work, music, and hot girls!

Come hear us play tonight at Pianos in the Upstairs Lounge from 7-10pm for LP3rdWednesday’s!
